School Services

We have experience providing deaf/hard of hearing services and speech and language services to students in public schools, charter schools, and private schools. Virtual one-on-one deaf/hard of hearing services are provided through a secure teletherapy platform equipped with captions.

We conduct classroom observations and assessments virtually or in person, within a 50 mile radius of San Francisco. Consultation services can take place in person, via virtual meetings, emails and phone calls.

Deaf/Hard of Hearing Services

We provide specialized one-on-one academic instruction for students with hearing loss in mainstream settings using a listening and spoken language communication modality. We tailor each student's services to align with classroom curriculum and strengthen their skills with listening, communication, reading, equipment management and self-advocacy.

We value working with the IEP team (parents, teachers, support staff) through effective communication and collaboration.

Consultation Services

Consultation with teachers and staff begins with an inservice at the beginning of the school year. We individualize each student’s inservice to educate staff on their hearing loss, accommodations, hearing technology, and assistive listening equipment. We conduct ongoing consultation through school visits, virtual meetings, emails, and phone calls.

We build a collaborative relationship with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure appropriate accommodations are in place for each student to successfully access and participate in their school setting.

Educational Evaluations

We provide deaf/hard of hearing (DHH) and speech and language evaluations for the students we serve as contracted providers. We also provide Independent Educational Evaluations (IEE).
